Siegfried Rössert studied musicology, history and ethnology at the University of Munich / LMU and also at the Munich Jazz School
(Bass with Adelhard Roidinger and theory with Joe Haider)
as well as Double Bass with Caius Oana and singing with
Ingeborg Bremert. Since 1978 works as a bass player,
singer and producer in a multitude of Bands as well as in
ensembles for ancient music (e.g. Kevin Coyne and ENGEL
WIDER WILLEN). He was chairman of the ICI-Ensemble
(international composers and improvisers / Munich) and
played together with such renowned musicians as Barry Guy,
Giancarlo Schiaffini and David Moss. In his extensive work as
a musician he guested at the "Jazzfestival Worms", at the state
theatres of Munich, Dortmund and Braunschweig, the Cologne philharmonie, the "Musikfest Hamburg" an the "Händel-
Festspiele" Karlsruhe as well as at the "Ulrichsberger
Kaleidophon". His concert tours led him e.g. to Norway
and to Marocco. As a session musician he appeared on
a multitude of records and cd´s as well as in radioplays and

Ulrich Müller initially was a rock musician, before he studied philosophy, musicology and history of art for a couple of years. After this he took lessions in composition with Klaus K. Hübler / Munich and visited workshops about computermusic with Clarence Barlow /
Cologne. In the years 1984 to 1988 he took part at the
"Darmstädter-Ferienkurse für Neue Musik". As a guitar
player and electronic musician he guested - among others -
at the "Donaueschinger Musiktage", the "Ars Elektronika"-
Centre / Linz and the "Künstlerhaus" / Vienna. Furthermore
he worked in the field of soundinstallation and theatre
music (among others for Ruth Geiersberger, Jovita
Dermota and "Comedia Opera Instabile"), was
associate at Josef Anton Riedl´s festival "Klangaktionen"
and wrote a multitude of radio essays about classical
and contemporary music. 1988 he received the
"Karl-Hofer-Price" from the Universitiy of Arts / Berlin.
He taught - among others - at the University of Arts /
Berlin and the Academy of Fine Arts / Munich. Today
he works also as a curator for the soundgallery "t-u-b-e" / Munich.
